So I decided to get my wife a 32" monitor for her laptop (eyesight going lol). Hooked it up to a USB port and it works great.

Here are the issues I am having: I first wanted to fold up the tablet where it was laying on the screen (on a towel) with the keyboard facing up. When I did this the keyboard stopped working. So I just laid it flat (with the screen and keyboard facing up). I noticed in both instances the laptop screen stayed on. I would like to turn the laptop screen off (at all times) if that is possible. I would also like to be able to fold the tablet with just the keyboard showing and not have the keyboard shut off on me. Any help would be appreciated.

Correction: I didn't plug the monitor into a USB port. It is plugged into the HDMI port.

HDMI is the only option to connect to an external monitor on your notebook

The tablet mode is added as a feature on the HP 360 convertible notebook that can convert like a phone, only the touch screen will be the option to navigate

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
