I'd like a little more graphics horsepower than the imbedded chip on the Intel io5-8250u provides?  Do I have any options with the current device?

Hi:

 

The graphics adapter is an integral part of the motherboard, and cannot be upgraded or replaced by itself.

 

The only way to upgrade the graphics would be to replace the motherboard with one listed in your notebook's service manual that may come with better graphics.

This is generally a very expensive project and almost always not worth the time, effort or money to do so.
