Yes, you can use USB-C on your machine to charge your phone or tablet.

BUT I believe you wish to ask "can you use USB-C chargers to charge your machine using its USB-C port".

Its specs shows it has  1 USB Type-C 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port . The answer is Yes, you can use USB-C chargers with wattage rating 65W or more to charge your machine.

FYI: I tested my Envy HP machine with same USB-C port using USB-C G5 dock and they are compatible.

Regards.

Hi thank you for the information, i actually went to it's main repair shop, but the technical support there told me that it's not advisable to use the type C port of my laptop as a charger, is this true?
