When I insert charging pin of my laptop charger into the charging port, charging sign appears for 3-4 seconds and then charging stops. I tried to contact the support but don't know how to get the passcode which is being asked on call.

Because the light isn't always on in most models but it still charges.
What passcode is it asking?
Is the device in warranty?
