Hi all,  I 'm trying to find out which hdmi version my laptop (1.4 or 2.0 ). I want to know if my laptop can support 4k 60hz or not? Thank all

There are dozens generations of HP Envy 17 and each generation can have hundreds of different models/products. What is your HP Envy 17 notebook PC ? Most likely it has HDMI 1.4 and ONLY supports 1920 x 1080 @60Hz.

 

Again, I need to know EXACTLY what is your machine to be able to confirm. Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:
