Hello, to whoever is reading this. I have a HP Elitebook 850 G2, and whenever I close the lid, it stays ON. It doesn't go into sleep mode. I tried changing the settings in the battery and power options in the control panel, but still my problem persists. I also have the latest drivers and my device is up to date with all the latest software. Please help me.
Thank you!!

I know you may probably have tried this before but see if this fix works out for you.
Changing a Windows power plan
You can change specific settings in any of the power plans using the following procedure.
To change power plan settings, complete the following steps:
In Windows, search for and open Power Options.
In the Choose or customize a power plan window, click Change plan settings next to the plan you want to change.
3. On the Change settings for the plan window, choose the display and sleep settings you want to use
4. To change more power settings, click Change advanced power settings.
6. When done, click OK > Save changes.5. On the Advanced settings tab, expand the category you want to customize, expand each setting you want to change, then choose the values you want to use.
