Recently Comcast arrived (yet again) to solve problems.  Most recently was their failure to have enough signal strength to provide WiFi to extended areas of the house.  As a result they "recommended" I directly connect to their modem for the printer to no longer rely on a varied signal.  This is in advance of using signal repeaters but for now I need to get this printer on line without hooking my computer repeatedly to the printer to get a print copy.

Since the issue is with the Signal Strength,  you could try using WiFi Direct

I suggest you follow the instructions on page 39 in this Link: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05543371 to use WiFi Direct

Keep me posted 😊
