Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop is cracked on both sides near power outlet and hinges. Its hard to keep plug in due to every time I open it pops out and the screen/lid wobbles. I have been using duck tape to keep it together.  I finally shut my computer today and each side is popped up by the hinges. I am afraid to open it again because I dont want to make it worse. The warranty is expired. I want to know. Is there a way to fix it? I also want to know is it worth it cost wise to fix and how much?

Thank you!

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand that your HP laptop casing and hinge assembly are damaged,  as we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.

I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.  HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/
