HP Recommended

The left hinge on my laptop recently started to become loose. I have never dropped or knocked my laptop into anything for this to happen. I cannot properly close & open my laptop & the screen is starting to seperate from the laptop, as well as the backing starting to crack & break off.

I have read of plenty of others having the SAME issue. Has anyone been able to adequately have this issue fixed, considering this is a design flaw & nothing to do with the fault of the user?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
