Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello Friends,

I recently upgraded my operating system from a windows 7professional to a windows 10 and surprisingly noticed that the DVD/CD Rom drive is not showing on the device manager. I have checked the registry to clear the upper and lower filters but there is none showing on that particular code I was asked to click. I have also configured a new registry as advised elsewhere and that too didn't work out.

Furthermore ,I have done BIOS update and nothing happened. I have tried un-installing the IDE/ATA/ATAPI controllers but could not see the channel O and channel 1 to un-install. I have checked if the CD drive shows in BIOS but got confused while doing that. At this point ,I am wondering what actually happened because I used the DVD player some days back before the update.

I hope to get assistant from you ASAP.

Thanks in anticipation.
