Hi community,
the bios IC of my notebook 17-bs013ng ist deceased. I can´t read or flash it with my programmer. I bought a empty new one and flashed it with one of the 3 (08339, 08342, 08406) images und solder it back on the mainboard. It works but which ist the right BID. what are the differences between this 3 variants? I get a error message: "manufacture programming mode is in unlock mode" and "warning: oem keyboard type is not set !!!".
how can i fix the error or can anyone give me the full image with all settings.
many greeting!!

You need HP BIOS Configuration Utility (BCU)
