I’m having the same issue as many others have posted about with my HP Envy laptop (3VU70UA) that’s not even two years old yet. Despite never being dropped, the hinge on the left has broken behind the screen and is separating the screen from the cover. I have another HP laptop that’s close to 10 years old and the hinges work perfect. Disappointed that the new one has a design flaw that makes it essentially worthless after less than two years.
