Product: Hp 13-aq0011ms and HP revolve 810 elitebook g3
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I was shocked to see that the older laptops have greater battery designed capacity than the latest and expensive ones, how come ? 

My HP revolve laptop has designed capacity of 4000Mah where as the HP envy 2019 model has 3454 mah, i expected that hp envy would have better battery performance and life ?  Can anyone plz explain why is HP degrading the battery performance and decreasing the batteries capacity in the newer laptops ? Shouldnt it be vice versa as the more advanced hardware requires more battery power ?

Normally same specs Elite machines are much lighter than Envy machines therefore their batteries are "smaller" but normally they "live" longer.

 

On many Elite machines, HP also offers 3 years warranty on batteries therefore we get better deal.

ohh, but i actually meant that hp elitebook batteries are bigger than envy, i think you misunderstood.
