Hi,

When I unplug the zDock Thunderbolt 3 cable from my laptop, it powers the dock off immediately and disconnects everything USB connected to it. Is this intended functionality? My others docks never lost power when I disconnected the laptop from the dock. When I plug the cable back in, everything lights up and powers on the dock like it should. I did read somewhere on the HP support site that this dock does not work pre-OS - is this what I am experiencing or does that mean something else? I'm really astonished that a dock that has AC power running to it MUST be connected to a laptop to work.

Thanks,

Glen
