HP ProBook 4430s

 

Do HP ProBook 4430s has USB 3.0 slot???  If no, can we add USB 3.0 slot in HP ProBook 4430s??

Paul, this document you linked to is all messed up. It claims that these machines have 4 (four) USB 3.0 ports. Take a look at page 9. I think that it lists the highest possible configuration, or something like that. Unless I'm missing something.

I believe that tagdatiger's machine only has ONE usb 3.0 port as seen in the manual http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03054507.pdf.

Underneath the USB 3.0 port is an Express card Slot (!) so if one finds the right adapter, more USB 3.0 ports can be added......

Hi:

 

According to page 1, item 11 of the HP Quickspecs at the link below, there are two USB 3 ports on the right side of the notebook.

Yes, you are quite right.

 

The notebook has one USB 3 port as shown in the service manual, chapter 2, page 3, item 9.

There is also a W7 Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller driver for the USB 3 port, so the notebook should definitely have one.
