Do I need a connector to add a 500GB SSD to HP Pavillion 15 Ryzen 5 EC0101AX?

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
So this one comes with 1TB HDD and I want to add 500GB SSD... Do I need a connector or something like that and if so is it available?

Hi @Debz18

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

This is the list of upgrades tested and approved by HP to work on your device

Disclaimer: I must let you know that HP does not recommend upgrades or hardware changes as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance by design, that said, the upgradeable parts listed by HP articles are purely for your ease, as the decision to upgrade will be at your own discretion.

For details on upgrading the SSD, check page. 30 Chapter 5 Removal and replacement procedures for Customer Self-Repair parts

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
