Microsoft Windows 11

Looking for a docking station that will work with 15T-100EG,  I have an external monitor that offers DP HDMI and USB-C inputs.  I'd like to use the DP port so I wanted a docking station that has a 60hz DP that will work with my computer.

I have tried a couple cheap amazon ones and none of the work well

What do you suggest?

Thank You

Your USB-C port is not Thunderbolt but does support Alt-DP and Power Delivery so can accept an incoming charge and puts out a video signal. You can confirm this by connecting your monitor direcly to the laptop using the USB-C port. Have you tried something like this? The DP port on the dock should work with the dock connected to the USB-C port on the laptop. It will also charge the laptop when you connect the power supply to the dock.

I have looked at that but I need one with usb-c power supplied instead of AC adapter if possible as the wiring is already done that way

So you do not need it to power the laptop? The dock should work without adding power into it but just will not charge the laptop. The docks that are built to run solely off the power from the usb-C port are usually pretty low function devices.

No what I mean is I have 100watt  usb-c power supply already wired in so I want dock that uses that power instead of regular adapter power. I don't want to have to redo my wiring

The dock uses usb-C power in and also delivers power through its usb-C port. Maybe a picture or diagram of your setup?

The ebay one you showed is not usb-c power in as it regular power plug connector

see pic of it below

I want USB-C power into the dock as have desk wired already for usb-c power into a dock but I have tried 3 different docks and none of them work

Too bad you can't use it as that is a great dock. This other HP dock uses USB-C power pass-through
