I removed the HDD, did clean installation of Windows 10 on the SDD and returned the HDD to the same place . After that the f9 got a menu where I can choose a desired boot device. I checked that I can successfully  load the both versions. Can I now boot from the HDD and in a File Explorer simply  replace all files and folder of the SDD (Windows, Programs Files, etc) with the same from the HDD?

I would stay away from messing with Windows files. But you can easily copy documents, music, movies, etc. System files will not transfer over while the laptop is running so you are not able to move apps from one installation to another. The only way to make an exact copy is to clone the HDD to the SSD in a preboot environment. I would move my working files to the SSD and then wipe the hard drive. Not a good idea to have 2 bootable drives in the same machine at the same time.

Hi, my laptop has only 1 Tb HDD and I want to upgrade it by adding SSD. Does hp Pavilion 17-ab001ur have m2 ssd slot and if this one  exists what kind of ssd it compatible with?

I deleted all partition on the SSD and used  a special tool - AOMEI Backupper Pro that has a menu item System Clone. Everything went well and I successfully booted from the SSD. After checking that everything is working properly I want to delete system partitions on the HDD (EFI, Windows, RECOVERY) and leave only data partitions on it. Everything seems to be OK now.  Thank you for help, Huffer!

Glad it all worked out.
