I want to connect a second monitor to my laptop via USB C - DisplayPort but I don't know if my USB C port supports Video Output. I haven't bought the cable yet because I want to know if it will work first. I looked at the manual and it says that my laptop has "USB Type-C port; USB 3.1 Gen 1; supports data transfer" but it says nothing about video transfer and I want to know.
Thanks!

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/ar-es/document/c06026073
which shows it has 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (solo transferencia de datos) ports.
Those USB-C ports do not support Alt mode nor PD therefore you can NOT use them
- To charger your machine
- To connect to an external monitor with/without hub/adapter
Regards.
