Does my notebook 15-ay029tu support M.2 SSD?

Hi:

 

No, your specific model notebook does not support a M.2 SATA SSD.

 

Only the 15-ay notebooks that came with a M.2 SATA SSD from the factory have a M.2 slot.

 

If you want to upgrade to a SSD, you will have to replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.
