I just got a brand new 15dw2009nk and I want to upgrade it by installing an M.2 SSD, preferably without replacing the existing HDD. I do not wish to dissasemble my laptop since its still covered by the warranty. Is there anyway to know if this model has a M.2 slot ?

Hi:
Yes, your notebook has a M.2 slot. It supports both SATA and NVMe SSD's.
Unfortunately the service manual on the support page covers the older models in the series with the 8th gen core processors and hasn't been updated yet.

The M.2 slot on the newer 10th gen notebooks such as yours may only support NVMe SSD's.
