I don’t know if my new laptop has a backlit keyboard or not i have researched online but can’t find anything please help

Hi:

 

If you are sure that is the model number, the 15-ac016ne is not a new notebook.

 

Maybe it is new to you, but that model series is over 6 years old.

 

Backlit keyboards were not offered as an option in the 15-ac0xx model series.

 

If you look at chapter 3 of the service manual, the only option was a standard keyboard.
