I wish to upgrade my laptop, just want to check if it has an M.2 slot for SSD installation? Can someone assist? Thanks

Oh no. Much too old to have an M.2 slot. If you want an SSD it has to be a 2.5 inch SATA SSD in place of the hard drive. Worth doing I will add. Service Manual:

There are lots of HP 15 Notebook PCs going back years. We need the specific model number. How to find it.

Thanks, can you recommend any specific 2.5 ssd model keeping in view the compatibility with this old machine.

 

Also i am planning to add 8 MB DDR3 Ram in second slot.

All the 2.5 inch SATA SSDs are good. Not much difference in performance. If I could have any it would be Samsung 860 Evo but you can buy based on best price.
