Hi,

Can someone please help me out with this?

Does my laptop support M.2 SSD?

I opened up my laptop and saw a M.2 slot, but does it support SSD? If so, what type of ssd? SATA or PCle Nvme?

Thank you very much.

From manual, the series has machines with the following drives

Your machine has 128GB of M.2 SATA on the list. You can use other 3 parts. I believe Samsung NVMe 970 series should work.

Hello @Banhien,

Thank you for the reply!

I would like to ask if the M.2 SSD (SATA 3) support Nvme SSD?

I planned to buy Samsung EVO 970 Plus 500 GB Nvme SSD to replace the 128 GB M.2 SSD.

Thanks!
