Hello there, and I have been using my HP 14 df0018wm for quite a while because of it's soldered eMMC storage has been a tight space for my needs. Is there a slot where you can add another M.2 SSD or get a 2.5 SATA cable for it?

Hi:
You cannot upgrade the 64 GB eMMC storage which is an integral part of the motherboard, and there is no support for additional M.2 or 2.5" drives for those notebooks.
Below is the link to the service manual:
The part number and description of the motherboard your notebook has is:
Intel Celeron N4000 processor with 64 GB eMMC L24458-601.
Here is an eBay listing of the motherboard:
L24458-601 GENUINE HP MOTHERBOARD INTEL N4000 64GeMMC 14-DF0018WM * | eBay
There's only the M.2 WLAN slot on the motherboard.

The answer to your first question is that HP posts the drivers and software for the entire 14-df0000 notebook model series on each specific notebook's support page.
Your notebook's support page is not some customized page that only contains the drivers and software relevant to your notebook's specific model number.
The answer to your second question is...take a look at the motherboard picture on the eBay listing I posted and near the bottom left corner of the motherboard is white lettering marked 'HDD.'
As you can see there is no SATA connector there, just a bare space.
