Hello. I have been using my HP 14s fq1092au for quite a while.. maybe uh? Anyways I was wondering if you can put a 2.5 SATA connector and SSD onto it? I know the NVMe is useful but I just wanna have more space for extra stuff.

Hi:

 

The 14s-fq model series only has support for M.2 SSDs.

 

You can download the service manual from the link below as HP no longer has one available for the model series.

Chapter 1 shows no support for 2.5" drives and chapter 3 has no parts to add a 2.5" drive.

 

You can replace the 512 GB M.2 2280 NVMe SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.
