Does the Omen X 2S only work with Windows 10?

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Does the Omen X 2S which has two screens only work with Windows 10? Or can I put a different OS like Windows 8 or Linux and the secondary screen will still work effectively? Thanks.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know whether the Omen X 2S works with different operating systems.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

The computer is tested only with the Windows 10 operating system. However, the second screen should work fine with Windows 8 with limited functionality.

 

I am not sure whether the second screen will work with a Linux operating system.

 

NOTE: HP doesn't recommend downgrading or changing the operating system and you can do so at your own discretion.
