Pavilion x360 14-dh1003dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi! I just got my laptop as a gift from my aunt. Its model is HP pavilion x360 14-dh1003dx.  It only has 256gb as its storage. Is it possible to add an hdd storage? I want it to be dual storage. Thanks 🙂

Yes but its not easy to find the needed parts. You need this hard drive cover/caddy:

For use in models with a ƭingerprint reader L51122-001

And also this hard drive cable:

Hard drive cable L51095-001

Service Manual

See pp. 31-40 to get an idea what you have to do.

It is frankly easier and cheaper to just upgrade the M.2 "gumstick" SSD to a 512 gig or 1 TB model in order to have more storage.

Post back if you want to try to track down the parts and proceed with a dual storage configuration.

Please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.
