HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 13-bd0000 (172M6AV)

I am writing in regards to my teenage daughter's Envy 360 Lap Top. While closing her lap top, the left hinge broke and has left her lap top unusable. The screen no longer works and the lap top can no longer be turned on.

This lap top was purchased from Harvey Norman in Sydney - Australia in January of 2022 and is in otherwise excellent condition.

It hasn't taken too much research to discover this is a known fault of HP, and has been for some years, even before we purchased this product - to our dismay.

Australian Consumer Law protects consumers from these types of shortfalls and failures and as this is an identifiable fault of the company, we would expect HP to rectify the problem through repair or refund.

I look forward to hearing what remedy HP has in place to rectify our concerns and we will also be engaging with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
