Hello.  If you are planning on using a EXP GDC beast via the ngff port of something similar, I AM HERE TO SAY DO NOT!

 

My computer was bought in February  of 2019 and was manufactured (looking at the date of the software install) during December of 2018. The BIOS was fully updated before this.  I bought a EXP GDC beast dock and plugged it into the NGFF port instead of the WIFI card.  When booted up, EVEN WITH just the cable connected the system black screens and gives a caps lock code that indicates a bios time out.  The EXP GDC is blacklisted just like all other non HP authorized ngff peripherals.  PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY.  The EXP GDC dock(And others) WILL NOT WORK ON HP COMPUTERS!
