Please i have elitebook 1030 G3 x360 with sim card slot but there no mobile broadband option under the settings menu. Also, the sim card slot is dummy and no ejection mechanism so i cant pull it out. Please any help because i want upgrade my PC in order to support sim card. Any help?

That means your machine does NOT have WWAN option. Without WWAN options your SIM card is useless. Please check the regulation from your government to see which one (WWAN) you are allowed to upgrade as noted on page 42 of the manual:

 

To prevent an unresponsive system, replace the wireless board only with a wireless board authorized for use in the computer by the governmental agency that regulates wireless devices in your country or region. If you replace the board and then receive a warning message, remove the board to restore device functionality, and then contact technical support
