Envy TS17 HD Upgrade

HP Recommended
EEnvy TS17 E8A11UA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can the Envy TS17 factory HDD be succesfully replaced with a SSD (solid state drive) of the same size?  If so, what form factor and other specs should I look for?  Will I see a significant increase in disk-access speeds?

Yes the 2.5 inch SATA hard drive can be replaced with a 2.5 inch SATA SSD. The WD Blue is a good choice.

Your disk access speed will more than double and the latency and bootup time will be much better. Clearly a worthy even critical upgrade IMO.

Post back if you need more help but that model series has an easy access panel to the hard drive so should be self-explanatory.
