Product: Hp envy x360 15m

Hello! Recently bought my HP Envy x360 15m. Its only a couple weeks old and the fan noise is extremely loud! I'm wondering if anyone els out there had this problem and found a solution. Or knows if this is normal? Noise is loud and annoying even when nothing is running and I'm considering returning. Thanks !

I understand that you are getting loud fan noise from the computer.

 

I have a few recommendations: 

  • Updating your Notebook computer BIOS 

  • Keeping notebook air vents clear and clean 

  • Increasing the efficiency of the notebook to reduce heat 

  • Using Windows Task Manager to identify corrupt processes 

  • Selecting power saves settings to shut off your computer when it is not in use
