HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15m-ee0013dx

Today I opened my laptop and POP! I see my screen on the right has separated from the back of my laptop and the glass has cracked. The hinge is no longer connected to the back panel of the laptop. I avoided getting an acer or any plastic laptop hoping to avoid hinge problems. Its become a very common issue with laptops and I'm very disappointed with hp. Since my laptop is out of warranty I guess there is nothing I can do except pay to get it fixed?
