After being quoted a whopping £250 to install a new battery in my Notebook, I chose to order and replace as the process is a quick one but after seeing an Estimated ship date of 10 Jan 2021 this morning, it has jumped to 18 May 2021. This is a huge surprise given the product (L11119-855) was at the time of purchase and still is currently listed as IN STOCK. Surely a five month delay for something that is IN STOCK cannot be accurate?
I know all vendors including HP are trying to do their best to bring their products to customers. But with on-going Covid-19 pandemic, everything is unpredictable. I believe high priority now is vaccine therefore only God knows when things would be going back to normal.
Please wait, it will come.
