Hello,

I am reaching out regarding a serious issue with my HP ProBook 455 G9 laptop. The laptop was used under normal conditions, with no physical damage, yet it suddenly stopped working just one month after the warranty expired (1 year and a month after purchase).

The failure occurred during charging, accompanied by a loud pop, after which the laptop would no longer power on. A diagnosis confirmed that the motherboard had failed, and the repair cost was estimated at €782—which is higher than the original purchase price of the laptop.

Not only is this completely unacceptable for a business-grade device, but HP service has also failed to provide any explanation as to how such a critical failure could occur. A motherboard failure so soon after the warranty period suggests a hidden defect or a serious manufacturing flaw, rather than normal wear and tear.

 

To make matters worse, I have tried to contact HP support, yet I have received no response whatsoever. This is beyond frustrating.

 

I am posting here because I have nowhere else to turn, and I expect an official response from HP regarding this serious product failure and lack of customer support.

 

I am extremely disappointed—both by the product quality and the customer service. I hope HP will take this matter seriously and provide a resolution.
