Hi,

 

my original POST has been locked, so I'm opening this thread to notify members who encountered the same problem.

I installed some optional updates yesterday via Windows Update and one via the Support Assistant, which included an update to the Thunderbolt Controller. This seems to have fixed the problem. Upon starting the installer, I can now see the correct version for the DP Hub being read, and both ports are working again.
