HP Recommended

Recently found my old HP notebook G6-2270DX and factory reset it but it can't connect to the internet, it says connected but anything requiring internet access says there's no internet.

I am not super savvy with tech but was wondering if it's worth trying to figure out/fix the issue or taking it anywhere etc. Any help is appreciated ty

Its uses Atheros AR9485 802.11b/g/n 1x1 WiFi adapter. Please download and install the following driver for Windows 8/8.1

 

              https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp63501-64000/sp63733.exe
