HP Recommended

Those new series have a common issue, the fan spins up every minute for a few seconds instead of remaining on. Does HP plan to fix this issue? It applies to a lot of HP ZBook devices across multiple series and we received several complaints.

 

The issue seems to be known as shown in this thread:

The option "Fan Always on while on AC Power" helps while its being connected to a power supply but in this mode, the fan spins at a rather high level hence the device is not quiet anymore.
