Hello. I'd like to know if this product (HP 250 g5) (Notebook-15-ay191nia) can support an additional HDD. The product came with a 256 gb SSD and I'd like to upgrade it with another HDD. Attached is an image of the motherboard.

Here is the Service Manual:
You have one slot designed to install a hard drive or SSD. Its the square thing right above the big empty space. It can hold a 2.5 inch SATA SSD or HDD in the hardware you have or with an adapter you can fit a 2280 form factor M.2 SSD. I see you also have the optical drive board installed and you could get an optical drive adapter to fit another HDD or SSD in the big open area. However, it would not be bootable and the performance is somewhat reduced. Still OK for simple file storage for music pictures, even videos.
