i have HP 15-R203TX Notebook (K8U03PA) .currently it has 4gb i would like to know how many ram slots it has i wanted to upgrade this to 8 GB

Hi,

The notebook supports max 16GB of DDR3L 1600MHz RAM  (2x8B)

There are two slots and yes you can add a 4GB module to reach a total of 8GB

Ex:

On page 76 of service manual you can see the steps to install the RAM. It is not the easiest model to upgrade RAM, as you need to remove the motherboard and flip it to get to the slots.
