Product: HP 15-db0014nm (4RM23EA)

Hi Guys,

I am looking to purchase HP 15-db0014nm (4RM23EA).

I really need to know is the 1TB HDD installed SATA 2 or SATA 3?

Is the HDD controller SATA 2 or SATA 3?

In addition, is the battery Li-Ion or Li-Polymer?

Hello @DjPer,

 

Considering that this laptop was very recently released, I wouldn't find a single reason why HP would opt for a SATA II controller or HDD. One thing you should note, however, is that HDDs are not capable of utilizing max speeds of SATA III - 6Gb/s. Only SSDs usually achieve close to the full advertised speeds of 600MB/s.

 

Furthermore, I can confirm that this laptop uses a Li-Ion battery. You don't commonly see Li-Polymer batteries being used.
