Hi,

I want to upgrade cpu from 3825u to i3 or i5.

Is it good to do a cpu upgrade than purchase new one. Less than 10000 INR if I can do upgrade that is good option for me than buying a new one. I am not interested in games or graphics associated with games. Default inbuild hd graphics is enough for me. Let me know your thoughts and inputs.

Thanks,

Harish Kumar

Hi:

The processor is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded or replaced.

In order to upgrade the processor, the motherboard would have to be replaced by one listed in your notebook's service manual that may come with a better processor.

Doing such an upgrade would be very expensive if you could even find the motherboard part.
