HP-33S Battery Plates Tricks

Hi all.

Is there a trick or tips you can give me for removing the battery plates so I can remove old & install new batteries? Specifically, how can I press down on the dot by the plastic lip on the bottom and slide down the two prongs at the top of the battery cover plate?

I’m not the most coordinated individual. So it’s difficult for me to hold down the indent hole on the lip of the lower side and slide down the two slits at the top of the battery plate at the same time.

I suggest that you ask for a colleague or friend's assistance in changing the batteries if you find it extremely difficult.
