Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone!

I'm planning to buy new RAM for my HP notebook. The one I already have in my laptop is SK Hynix PC3-12800 (800 MHz, DDR 3, 1,35 V). The new one, which I wanna buy is CRUCIAL 4GB SODIMM DDR3L 1600MHz 1,35V. Can someone make me sure that this one would be compatible with my motherboard (HP 80C2) and an old memory? Recently, I had a problem with installing Kingston RAM memory (1600 Mhz, 4 GB, 1,5 V, DDR3)-probably because of the difference in voltage.

Thank you in advance 🙂

The specs of your machine is

           https://support.hp.com/au-en/product/hp-15-ac000-notebook-pc-series/7771404/document/c04738968

It has 4 GB DDR3L-1600 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB) and supports 16GB max. You can upgrade to

   (a)  8GB: add same existing RAM to slot 2 or using

              https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr3/ct51264bf160b/ct8973645

   (b) 16GB: install 8GB each to both slots using

             https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr3/ct2kit102464bf160b/ct8973648
