HP Accelerometer not working

Product Name: HP Envy 17
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Since the automatic install of the Windows 10 November (2017-11)  Comulative Update (KB4048955), every time I start my laptop I get an error stating that HP accelerometer will not run on this version of Microsoft Windows. I have an HP Envy 17 laptop running Windows 10 Pro Version 1709. I have searched the forum and Internet and followed the instructions to remove the driver, restart my laptop and then re-install HP 3D guard ( HP Accelerometer). Nothing has fixed the error. Can somebody please help me fix this error? Thanks.

As I understand the device isn't working due to the error-"HP Accelerator doesn't work",

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details: 

Did you try installing the softpaqs to resolve the issue?

 

Here are the list of softpaqs that help, depending on your product, 
I suggest you try downloading them one after the other to check which works:

Here's the latest version of the 3D drive guard software: 

Receives notifications from the integrated accelerometer and automatically parks the hard drive to reduce the risk of damage if the PC is accidentally dropped.
