Hi,
The DVD writer of my dv4 2103tu failed.Hence is it possible to upgrade to an internal DVD writer like this one from amazon-

Yes, you can upgrade the DVD drive and I am sure it will be work fine with your computer as DVD drives are plug and play devices. Just make sure that the port is same for the new DVD drive which you purchase.
