I've given up on getting the HP Driveguard package to work, i've tried every version on the list and updated everything i can short of reinstalling windows. Computer is less than 6 months old and run perfectly in every other aspect, so reinstalling the OS on a 1tb hard drive with 600gigs of data is abit extreme.

I understand that. I reinstalled Windows twice, and it made no difference, but my PC also had a mechanical issue.
