My HP Envy 15 doesnt last even ten minutes when off charge. It is about two years old. The HP BATTERY CHECK APP says everything is fine with the battery and you notice it discharging slowly then it suddenly gives an alert that the battery is critically low and a second later, it goes off. Usually, the battery icon in the notifications tray isn't even halfway discharged when this happens. Is there a problem with the battery that needs changing or it's a software issue? When I plug it back, it then shows that the battery is empty and it is charging all over again. How exactly do I get a replacement as this doesn't have a removable battery from outside.

The battery is still technically OK but is getting old. Closer to three years than 2 and a lot of cycles. It should still work OK but with reduced runtime. However, a brand new one would be very likely to completely fix your problems.
Pages 28-31 show how to replace the battery.
Battery (3-cell, 52-WHr, 4.56-AHr, Li-ion; includes cable) 849313-856
Gave you a couple choices.

We need you to post the advanced results from the HP battery test that shows the number of cycles, the remaining charge capacity of each cell, etc. The simple pass/fail is like the check engine light on the dashboard of the car: overly simplistic and not the sole basis for concern. Even an internal battery can be replaced by opening the case of the laptop. Batteries are widely available and not terribly expensive. Please run the test, post back

At 1:04 into the video see the testing screen and the link "show advanced information" next to the word "Results"? Click the link and report what it says there, please.
