Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I had posted on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/HP-ENVY-15-Notebook-faulty-hin... regarding my FAULTY HP HINGE...

Although I had been contacted by some person on this website and in the inbox section - NO FURTHER help has been given.

Due to my time constraint, I had to get the hinge repaired by paying for it even if the faulty hinge wasn't my fault.

Won't buy HP product as they haven' helped me solve my issue and I ended up paying for something that isn't my fault. The topic is locked for some reason so I could not update on that thread.

I paid for a "fake" or "fabricated" hinge for repair of my laptop which was done from an authorized HP service center in my city. HP has conveniently stopped manufacturing any parts for this laptop and now are taking money for fake hinges. so beware before buying any hp product. please check reviews and issues of any model that interests you. HP ENVY models are known to have faulty hinges issue for which NO HP HELP is given.

My hinge was faulty. I already had this issue even during my warranty period. Again a similar problem occurred. Now they said they will forward this issue and they kept on forwarding it. No help is given. The issue wasn't solved. Won't recommend HP to anyone.

I have once again brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact.
